We are planning our first trip in June for a week, and were just wondering what people have found to be the best plan. Should we plan the whole week at one island or split the trip between 2 islands. We were thinking orcas island and san juan island. Any suggestions?

I definitely recommend to you split up your time on each island. San Juan Island, Orcas Island, and Lopez Island. Lopez is definitely a bit quieter but definitely worth a night or two. Split the rest of the time between Orcas and San Juan. I hope that helps... enjoy your trip!
