For the second year, visitors to the San Juan Islands will get a welcome break this Fourth of July holiday week when Washington State Ferries offers free parking at the Anacortes ferry terminal July 3 – 6..

This limited space will be available at the Anacortes Ferry Terminal from 12:00 a.m. Friday, July 3 through 11:59 p.m. Monday, July 6.  For all other dates, payment is required for vehicles located in the lots at the Anacortes ferry terminal.

Orcas Island and San Juan Island have reasonably priced, seasonal shuttle service for ferry walk-on passengers.  No reservations are necessary for shuttles, although advance reservations are highly recommended and often needed for most lodging options in the San Juan Islands during the summer months.  Choose from country inns, boutique hotels, bed and breakfasts, cabins, cottages, vacation rental homes and resorts located in the villages, forests and fields of Lopez, Orcas and San Juan Islands. 

This Independence Day weekend, come to the Islands for the parades and picnics, then see fireworks light up island skies over the water.  Take advantage of a sparkling good deal with free parking at the Anacortes ferry terminal, thanks to Washington State Ferries!
