We are planning a trip to the islands in August.  Where is the best place to camp that is accessible by ferry?

Also, which is better: Lakedale Resorts or West Beach Resorts?  We were thinking about staying in the canvas cabins...

Thanks for your question.  Lakedale is the largest and most beautiful private campsite in the San Juan Islands.  There are canvas cabin type structures elsewhere, but no one has the level of luxury camping that we have.  Our canvas cabins include a queen-sized pillow top mattress, dining table and 4 chairs, sofa sleeper or 2 inside lounge chairs, 2 adirondack outside chairs, and a firepit.
