Best beaches on Lopez Island

Hi. We'll be taking a day trip to Lopez Island the weekend of July 4. Any recommendations for great swimming beaches? We'll be on bikes and with the weather at 79 degrees it will be nice to cool down. I've done extensive internet research but no mention of good swimming at any of the parks. A huge thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Probably you don't see any mention of swimming because the water is too cold:
The average year-round water temperature is between 48 to 52 degrees. Warm enough if you are a member of the polar bear club but too cold for most people. Several of the parks do have water access so you can explore tidal pools and such and maybe splash some cold water on yourself to cool down.
Orcas Island has Cascade Lake in Moran Park that warms up enough to go swimming (circa 70 degrees by late summer) but that's the only place I've seen anybody swimming.

Thanks so much for the response. We're just talking a quick dip so we'll try a beach but definitely keep the lake in mind. Appreciate the recommendation. Happy holiday weekend!
